The Mortal Kombat 11 Second Season has come to a dramatic end as the top eight players in Sub-Saharan Africa battled against one another for their share of R8,500 in cash last night, (17th of November). Only one player stood tall to take the crown of Season 2 champion in what was an adrenaline-fueled evening as the live stream showcased some of the best fights we have ever seen in Sub-Saharan Africa for Mortal Kombat 11.  

The Final 8 

Eight players remained, with five being from South Africa and three from Zambia, there was more than just personal pride to play for but additionally the weighted expectations from their national support base. Representing in the Top eight was:

  • 3) FTG Parasurama (South Africa)
  • 4) XRay_92 (South Africa)
  • 5) Elamac (South Africa)
  • 6) AI_Cortex (Zambia)

  • 8)  TagaBearClaw (South Africa) 

The players were seeded according to their results from the respective qualifiers and it produced some very interesting match-ups where around half produced a result of 3-2.

After an exciting evening of Mortal Kombat action, our Season 1 winner (Mr 5000) returned to take the crown yet again. Here are the full results from the evening's play.

The tournament is open to all residents in Sub-Saharan Africa. Some terms and conditions will apply, and players will need to be 18 years or older to compete. The tournament will be run on PlayStation®4 using the NetherRealm Studio’s developed fighting game, Mortal Kombat 11.
