Can I take part in the Open Competition if I play in Nitro ASL?
Yes. We encourage players to enter both and test their skills against the wider field.

My school did not qualify for Nitro ASL - can we still compete?
Yes. Open spaces are filled with schools that could not attend. Submit an application via the form.

Do I have to pay to enter Nitro ASL and Open?
Top finishers from Premier are reimbursed for Nitro ASL Finals. Top finishers from ACGL Season 3 & 4 are awarded a ticket for AGC Open Finals. All other players pay for their seat in both ASL Finals and the Open Competition.

Do I need to bring my own equipment?
BYO PC/console for Fortnite and Valorant. Brawlhalla, EA FC 26 and Tekken 8 stations are provided.

How old do I have to be to compete?
All titles except Valorant: Players must be 13 or older. Those under 16 must submit a parent/guardian consent form before competing.
Valorant: Players must be 16 or older. Those under 18 must submit a parent/guardian consent form before competing.

Is there a cash prize for Nitro ASL?
No cash - Nitro ASL is the highest level of South African school play. Winners receive medals, trophies and an invite to AGC Open.

Can I get a refund?
Yes - refund requests are accepted until 10 July 23:55 SAST. Email tournaments@acgl.gg with your proof of payment attached. Requests submitted after this date will not be processed. Please note that all refunds will only be processed after 23 July and can take up to 2-3 weeks to receive.
