We are changing. And also not changing at all.

We are now live on acgl.gg but if you have a profile on acgl.co.za, do not fear. You do not need to do anything at all. Your profile lives with you no matter where you go. Simply put, acgl.co.za will redirect to the new acgl.gg url, along with you and your history. You will however need to login again, but doing so will award you your daily login Embers, so there is no reason not to.

WHY THE CHANGE?

While we were first and foremost born in South Africa, ACGL has always believed in esports across the continent. While our .co.za domain always wore our birth roots on our sleeve, the move to acgl.gg is to embrace a wider approach. One that allows a continued African expansion, and even potentially a global one... you know... maybe...

The change to acgl.gg also brings a few site tweaks and upgrades which you should be seeing as soon as you arrived on the site. The TL;DR of the changes now live are:

  • acgl.co.za will be redirected to acgl.gg
  • A new headings font
  • New tab icons on the right of the desktop site
  • New tab icons on the bottom of the mobile site
  • New poster-style game images
  • Updated and simplified left navigation bar
  • Names added to the avatar kits in the avatar editor
  • Updated the /landing page
  • Added an admin badge to an admin's profile page
  • New ACGL GG avatar and calling card free to everyone
