With Season 01, Season 02 and #AGC25 coming to a close for the year, here is a quick recap of what happened, and a rundown on what to expect from here on out!
Seasonal Play Recap!
Seasons were a brand-new addition to the ACGL Calendar this year, introduced to bring more structure and consistency to our events. We were really happy with the positive impact this has had on the community - allowing MGO’s more confidence in picking up teams in various titles across the board, while providing players the assurance of regular events and prize pools in their favourite games. Structure and consistency are two of the goals we have been striving towards here at ACGL. We feel these ideals are key to unlocking even more growth for Sub-Saharan African Esports, and are the best way to continue to support our community! It was from this, that the idea of Seasons was born.
We believe Seasons have laid a strong foundation from which we can keep expanding Sub-Saharan African esports, and are excited to build on this momentum. That said, we would love to hear your feedback - if there is anything you think we can improve, please let us know!

Weeklies have been revamped!
That’s right - our schedule of Weekly Cups has been reworked, with new titles, more tournaments and even more Game Modes! There is bound to be something for everyone!

That’s not all though! After popular demand, Valorant and Marvel Rivals Cups have also seen a return!

Last but not least, we also have released a series of updates to the websites to ensure that you always keep up to date with the tournaments that are important to you!
Introducing “Home Page Customisation”:
- Follow the titles that are important to you using the 'customise' button, to get a curated list of upcoming tournaments that you want to see right on your Home Page!
The Play tab is now your central hub - bringing together upcoming tournaments, active events, and all game titles in one place.
