R5000 up for grabs in the eFootball PES2021 Season Update series
Local Konami distributor GameFinity is powering two seasons of eFootball PES2021 Season Update action for local PlayStation 4 players.
A total of R10,000 in cash will be up for grabs, split between the two seasons. Season One kicks off now, and features a prize pool of R5,000. Season Two will follow early in 2021.
Players may enter and compete for free in one of four online qualifiers over the next month and a bit. Placing in the top two in a qualifier will secure a place in the grand final and competing for the cash.
Registrations for the qualifiers are now open, with the dates scheduled as follows per qualifier:
- Qualifier 1: 5 November
- Qualifier 2: 12 November
- Qualifier 3: 19 November
- Qualifier 4: 26 November
All the qualifiers will be hosted on Thursday nights from 19h00, while the final will be on Sunday 6 December from 14h00.
Prize pool
The R5,000 prize pool will be divided between the top four players as follows:
- 1st Place: R2,500
- 2nd Place: R1,500
- 3rd Place: R600
- 4th Place: R400
