This Sunday, prepare yourself for some high flying Rocket League action as the top four teams from the MWEB GameZone Master Series qualifiers clash for their shot to become this season's Champions!

For the past two months teams from across South Africa have been battling in the first ever tournament on South African Rocket League servers.

First MGMS Qualifier

The first MGMS qualifier kicked off at the start of the holiday season and managed to gain 16 entries into the tournament. The qualifier was divided into two separate sessions. The first session determined the top three teams that would make it into the second session - the final day of play.

After 27 matches we managed to find our top three from the first qualifier but only two would qualify for the Grand Finals.

After all said and done, Rocket Eclairs took to the sky as they claimed the number one spot. VxP | Elem3ntriX took the second and final available slot from the first qualifier.

With our top two seeded teams ready and awaiting their opposition, we looked ahead to the second qualifier which would determine our final two teams.

Second MGMS Qualifier

The second MGMS qualifier saw a massive turn out as over 33 teams registered for the competition.

With the uptake in participants, the competition intensified as local Rocket League teams prepared themselves for one of the longest day one tournaments - with over 60 matches being played.

The top three teams would once again progress to the final day of play, and it was none other than eXdee Gaming and Team Name (actual team name) that made it through to qualify for the Grand Final.

This Sunday (4 February 2018) our top four teams from the two qualifiers will compete for the title of MGMS Rocket League Champions.
