LevelFox is presenting The Showdown, brought to you by the City of Cape Town. This epic gaming event is brought to life in conjunction with the ACGL team, LevelFox, City of Cape Town and Cell C, and features a R40,000 cash prize pool. The Showdown will feature two of the hottest titles in the competitive market, Rocket League and FIFA 22.

Competitors will need to navigate one of two online qualifiers for each title to secure a spot at the live final event at Atlantic Studios in Cape Town. Finalists who live outside of Cape Town will be flown in for the event, which will also be streamed live on the day. The top two spots from each qualifier will headi to Cape Town to compete for the cash up for grabs!

Registration for the online qualifiers is free, but entry is limited. Tournament registrations are now open for the qualifiers:

Rocket League will be played as a 3v3 tournament on all available platforms. FIFA 22 is open to players on PlayStation. Please note that the event is only open to players aged 16 and older.

If you are keen to join the live event as a spectator, there are 300 free tickets available. To secure a ticket, you will need to sign up with LevelFox and book your ticket via Quicket. With your spectator ticket you will get to witness the action live, as well as enjoy other activities on offer by a host of vendors on the day.
