ACGL Season 1: Mid-Season Update | R90,000 Up for Grabs and more!
The first season of ACGL is well underway, and we’ve just passed the halfway mark. This inaugural season features ladders for six titles, bringing an exciting competitive structure to the gaming community.
Divisions and Qualification
This season, two divisions have been created for all titles, with specific qualification criteria.
The top players or teams from the ladder qualify for Division 1, and the next repeated amount will qualify for Division 2:
-
Brawlhalla: 16 Participants
-
Call of Duty: 8 Participants
-
Clash Royale: 16 Participants
-
EA FC 25: 16 Participants
-
EA FC Mobile: 16 Participants
-
Fortnite: 33 Participants
-
Free Fire: 12 Participants
-
Rocket League: 8 Participants
-
Valorant: 8 Participants
Example: EAFC Mobile: The Top 16 participants qualify for the Division 1 Cup. The next 16 Players (17-32) qualify for the Division 2 Cup.
Once the ladder phase is completed on March 28th, the top teams and players in each title will be invited to a Cup to compete in their respective divisions.
Cup Competitions and Rewards
-
Division 1: All Division 1 Cups will be streamed, featuring a cash prize pool of R10,000.
-
Division 2: These Cups will feature an Ember pool as the prize.
-
Digital Rewards: Players across both divisions will receive digital rewards on the platform.
-
Player Cards: Players who have participated in five or more ladder matches will unlock a unique player card for their title. Battle Royale titles will need to complete 2 matches to unlock.
-
Division Stickers: Stickers will be awarded based on the division a player qualifies for, with special colour effect for the top 3 placements.
Division Structure
It is important to note that Division Cups are non-promotional, meaning that Division 2 winners will not be promoted to Division 1 for this season.
