Welcome to the Fortnite Season 1 Ladder! Join weekly lobbies to earn points and climb the ladder. At the end of this season, the top participants will compete for their share of R10,000!
IMPORTANT NOTE: Teams must have played in at least 2 weeks of Ladder Tournaments to qualify for the Finale!
FORMAT
- Through all the qualifiers, teams will earn points based off of their placement in their group. The point breakdown is as follows:
- 1st: 20 pts
- 2nd: 15 pts
- 3rd: 10 pts
- Top 20%: 8
- Top 40%: 5
- Top 60%: -5
- Top 80%: -8
- Top 90%: -10
- No Show: -20
- Roster change: max(-20%, -10)
ROSTER CHANGES:
- Teams are allowed to make 1 change to their roster each week. This needs to be communicated and approved by ACGL Administration through a support ticket.
- Should more than 1 member in your team change during a week - you will forfeit all previous points awarded to your team.
- Note: Substitutes are included in this rule.
- Players leaving a roster do not count as a roster change.
TIE BREAKER:
In the event that two or more teams have the same number of total points, the following rules shall be applied to break the tie:
- Tiebreaker 1 = Total wins
- Tiebreaker 2 = Highest eliminations
- Tiebreaker 3 = Highest average placement
- Tiebreaker 4 = Highest amount of eliminations in one game
- Tiebreaker 5 = Coin-Flip
HOW TO SIGN UP
- Join the tournament before the Signup Deadline
- Check in during the Check-in Period
- Matches and lobby details will be generated at the tournament Start Date
REQUIREMENTS
- All players must reside(currently live in) an African Country. For a full list of eligible countries see the Rules page
- If we fail to get at least 3 participants checked in by the time the tournament starts, the tournament will be cancelled
Quick Rules
All matches must be played on ME/MIDDLE EAST servers.
We will be using Yunite for this tournament. The Discord server invite will be available at 13:56 / 18:56 SAST. Game 1 will start at 14:25 / 19:25 SAST

RESULTS
- Scoring will be done by ACGL automatically.
- Ensure your linked game account is correct.
- Remember to take screenshots, in the case of any disputes!
HOW TO PLAY
- Once the tournament starts, go to your first match which will be listed under "My Participation"
- Make note of the Password on the match page, this will be the lobby code
- From the Fortnite Main Menu, enter the lobby code

- The host will start the lobby 10 minutes after the Match password is posted
- At the end of the match, make sure to take screenshots of your kills and position
- After the match has ended, you must click on "Enter Result" on the ACGL match page, enter the team's scores and upload the screenshot
- Repeat for all other matches
YUNITE
- If we are using Yunite, you will be invited to join a Discord Server on your match page from which we will invite everyone to play!
- Click the Hand icon in the message that Yunite posts.
- After 5 minutes, we will dispatch the code via Yunite.
- Yunite will send you a friend request in-game.
- Accept the friend request and invite Yunite to join your lobby (the bot will appear in your friends list)
- After Yunite has joined your lobby, make it the party leader.
- Once Yunite leaves your lobby, you and your team mates must ready up and join the Queue for the custom game.

TOURNAMENT MODE
- If we are using Tournament Mode:
- Type ''tournament'' in search bar and choose the Battle Royale: Tournament Settings mode.
- All players in a team (if we are playing a team based game) will need to favourite the gamemode.
- Restart Fortnite if it says disabled!
