AGC 2026 - Event Policy & Terms and Conditions

This document applies to all persons attending or participating in the African Gaming Championship 2026 ("AGC 2026"), organised by ACGL. By entering the venue or participating in the event in any capacity, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

1. Admission & Ticketing

  • Entry to AGC 2026 is permitted only with a valid ticket, pass or accreditation issued by ACGL.
  • All tickets and passes are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Participants and attendees may be required to wear wristbands, lanyards, or other ID tags at all times as a condition of entry and participation.
  • ACGL reserves the Right of Admission. Security and staff may refuse or revoke entry to any person at any time for non-compliance with this policy.

2. Age Requirements & Consent

  • Solo entry for competition participants is strictly limited to individuals aged 13 years or older.
  • Any participant under the age of 18 must have the express written consent of a parent or legal guardian.
  • Children under 13 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times in the venue.

3. Venue Rules & Prohibited Items

  • The following items and activities are strictly prohibited:
    • Fake or replica weapons, including props.
    • Cosplay outfits or costumes that fully cover the head or conceal identity.
    • Dangerous or illegal items, substances, or contraband.
  • Attendees must comply with all venue and security instructions, including bag searches if required.

4. Media Consent & Use of Image

  • By entering the venue, all attendees, players, staff, media, and guests consent to being filmed, photographed, recorded, and broadcast as part of AGC 2026.
  • ACGL reserves the right to use, reproduce, and distribute any photographs, videos, or recordings taken during the event for promotional, commercial, or archival purposes worldwide and in perpetuity, without further consent or compensation.

5. Conduct & Compliance

  • All attendees agree to behave respectfully towards other participants, staff, and the public.
  • All competition participants are additionally bound by the official Player Code of Conduct and Tournament Rules, which are incorporated by reference into these Terms and Conditions.
  • Failure to comply with any policy may result in immediate removal from the venue and disqualification.

6. Liability

  • Entry and participation are at your own risk.
  • ACGL, its partners, and the venue accept no liability for personal injury, loss, damage to personal property, or any consequential loss arising from attendance or participation.
  • Attendees must take responsibility for their own belongings and actions at all times.

7. Governing Law

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of South African courts.

By entering AGC 2026 you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these Event Terms and Conditions.
